What is Shopmobility?
The Shopmobility scheme hires out manual wheelchairs and powered scooters to people with limited mobility to shop and explore the White Rose Centre. We also sell a range of daily living aids to improve mobility. Booking in advance is preferable in order to secure your scooter/wheelchair for when you want to visit.
Hire of Manual Wheelchair FREE, no deposit required.
Hire of Walkers FREE, no deposit required.
Hire of Scooters per session will be £6, no deposit required.
Hire of Powered Wheelchairs per session will be £6, no deposit required.

Walkers – £5 per day and £50 deposit
Wheelchairs – £7.50 per day and £75 deposit
Mobility scooters – £15 per day and £150 deposit

Monday: 10am to 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10am to 4:30pm
Wednesday: 10am to 4:30pm
Thursday: 10am to 4:30pm
Friday: 10am to 4:30pm
Saturday: 10am to 4:30pm
Sunday: 11am to 4:30pm
When you pick up your equipment you will need to bring a form of photo ID or two forms of address confirmation for insurance purposes.
