The William Merritt Centre are looking for Trustees.

The Centre is a well-established charitable organisation providing assessment, information and advice regarding the use of assistive technology, to people with disabilities, their carers and professionals, in order to support people to live their lives as independently as possible for longer. 

Management of the Centre is overseen by a group of trustees, who meet bi-monthly, and are responsible for ensuring the charity has a clear vision, strategy and policy framework and for monitoring its performance.  

Trustees are expected to work as team members and have proven leadership and / or innovation in their field, with desirable areas of expertise including (but not limited to) marketing / fundraising, organisational administration, occupational therapy and management, or diversity issues: previous users of the service or someone with a long-term condition looking to contribute to the work of the Center would also be an excellent candidate for the roll.

The positions are not remunerated.
